Have I ever mentioned how much I love Damask? Well, I do. A lot. This new design is one of my favorites right now. It is so much fun. It gives the look of damask wall paper, but is super easy to apply because, well it is a wall decal. Even better than damask wall paper, there is no mess, no glue, no huge commitment, and a great price. The 2 foot wide strip shows through the wall color where the damask is cut out. The look is stunning (especially in silver vinyl, my personal favorite for this design), and is a great conversation starter. Can be customized to the height that you need. So much fun!

Okay, so I took on the project of redoing my studio because- well I spend a lot of time in there and need a fun room to keep me entertained. It took a lot more time then I thought it would. But then again, I think that it is a rule that all projects do. It turns out they don't make tables in the shape and size that I was looking for, so my husband built me one (he actually ended up doing a good portion of the project that I told him I will do on my own in just a few days. Aren't husbands great!).

I love the fresh and natural look of bamboo. It has got to be one of the coolest plants out there- what else can grow so amazingly fast? Plant some in that corner of your home you just don't know what to do with. You don't even have to worry about watering it!

NEW Tree in Wind

I've had a few requests now for this, so here it is! Basically I took the same idea as the Dandelion in Wind decal, but made it a tree on a windy day. Spread the leaves around your room any way you want! I have 2 sizes for it so far- extra large and gigantic! Shown in the picture is the 66" size, but also available is a 79" tall tree (other sizes can be requested). Definitely a fun way to decorate a whole wall all at once!

I am really in the Spring/Summer mood! Well, I guess I am more in the Spring mood being that I live in Arizona where summers are only bearable in the pool. The last few days have been great though- perfect for being outside (it actually rained yesterday!!). I love finding fun ways to bring a little fun outdoors in. I just finished up my new design of a windmill.

Okay, so this entry is more on a personal note. A couple of weeks ago my now 6 month old took his first little crawls. I have to say that I was, and am, so proud! And scared. He is into everything! I can't believe how fast he is sometimes. The best things to crawl to- the dog toys and bones, which Lewa our dog is so nice to place right in front of him (like he is going to throw it for her or something). He hasn't quite figured out that those are not his chew toys. Yikes. I am having a little problem with his new freedom due to the fact that I am a slight (okay so some people would use a different word than slight to describe it) germaphobe and can't really handle watching him crawl over and lick the floor or try to shove the dog toy in his mouth. They sure keep you busy!!

New Swirly Series

I am really excited about this one. Introducing the new swirly bird and tree series. So far I have the tree, birds and branch combo's. I love big things, and this tree is definitely big at 6 feet tall, 4 and a half feet tall, or it can be customized to the size you are looking for. If there are any coordinating items that you would like to see with it, just let me know!

So many of my favorite things come from custom orders. This one started with a tree and bird themed nursery ready for a makeover. I love coming up with new designs with a theme in mind!

A Note to Music Notes

Okay, I wish I could say that I am musically talented. I am not. I tried the piano thing for 8 excruciating (for me, my parent's, and my poor teacher) years. My husband encourages me not to sing when I am next to him in church or in the car. It just isn't pretty. For anyone. I very much admire those of you who can hear a song, sit down and play it. Or just sing in tune, that is nice as well. I do love music though and wish I was better at it, but I guess I will just have to resort to making music decals for now.

I was looking through some of my files of decals that I have made and came across this fire hat that I have had for a while, but just not gotten it in my shop because I don't really have a good place in my home to showcase it in a picture. I love the idea of it for a boy's room, especially with the fire hydrant, so I thought I should get it up.

By the way, in the fire hydrant picture there is Lewa (our little doggy) herself.

Next on the list, a fire truck to complete the set!

Long Time No Post

Wow, I just realized how long it has been since I have made a post! Things have been really busy with orders, and of course my little 5 month old! That and I still really haven't gotten the whole hang of this blog thing. I have been working on a few new designs, trying to get them ready to go up on the site. I'm trying to come up with more ideas for little boys rooms. Having a boy of my own I realize how hard it is to find cute boy stuff (girls have it made in the shade as far as cute clothes and decorations go, with boys you have to dig a little harder). Let me know if you have any boy decorating suggestions! Also I am working on one that I am really excited about that would go really well hanging behind a bed. Can't wait to get that up! I have some new little lovebirds that I just got out. I'll attach their little picture.
